We all have a preference in our heart how we like our things to look, to feel and how it will be used. It was the deciding factor before we purchase an item. I have a soft spot for throw pillow, and it is the second item I work on as I started my own product line. For me, my throw pillow need to fulfilled these few important prerequisite before I put it up on the shelf, or have the desire to bring it home with me.
- The design – First and foremost, the design must speak to me, appealing to me.
- The material – I preferred natural fabric above all others. Something about natural fabric; simply breathable for any temperature.
- The finishing – The zipper of matching color, the colour, the inner lining, the joining of fabric need to be done neatly, if not perfect.
I don’t need my throw pillow to last forever (so that I have excuse to get new ones), but a reasonable extent of time. With these facts in mind, I have been testing on material after material, factory after factory, design research of trend and style, all the possible technically to create a product that I love. So, I hope you will find a piece or two of throw pillows you like in my collections.
